Jordan Battle penned a heartfelt message to Tide nation as he turns pro
Andrew Wevers-USA TODAY Sports

One of Alabama’s seniors and permanent team captains is heading to the NFL Draft.

Jordan Battle has been one of the most consistent players for the Crimson Tide since arriving in the 2019 class from South Florida. He decided to return to school for his senior year after a good junior season in 2021, and he posted 71 tackles (fourth on the team), two pass breakups, and an interception. His first pick of 2022 came in the Allstate Sugar Bowl against Kansas State.

Battle made so many crucial plays in his career, especially a pick-six in the 2021 Southeastern Conference Championship matchup versus Georgia. He penned a heartfelt message to Tide nation on Twitter, thanking them for everything.

Battle accepted an invitation to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, and it will be fun to watch him enhance his value.

He leaves with two SEC Championships (2020 and 2021) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020.
