It didn't take long for Andover's Cameron Begalle to say yes to P.J. Fleck.
According to several recruiting insiders, Begalle, the No. 6 recruit in Minnesota according to 247Sports, committed almost immediately after receiving an offer from the Gophers.
"Wow! After a great conversation with [Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck] I'm truly blessed and excited to receive an Offer from the University of Minnesota," Begalle posted on Twitter Tuesday. "I'm gonna be a gopher!"
The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver previously received offers from Air Force and Navy.
During his junior season in 2023, Begalle caught 74 passes for 1,252 receiving yards – the most in the state – and 12 touchdowns.
Begalle is the sixth commitment to the Gophers' 2025 class. The state's No. 1 recruit, linebacker Emmanuel Karmo of Robbinsdale Cooper, committed to Minnesota last Friday.
