Georgia Listed as Possible Landing Spot For Arizona State Transfer QB Jaden Rashada

Late last week, reports released that Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada was entering the transfer portal. Before he even entered, though, it was reported that Georgia was a team to keep an eye on when was going to enter.

While Carson Beck is still starting under center for the Bulldogs, Rashada is an incredible talent filled with potential, and Kirby Smart and his staff would have time to develop him physically and his skills before he would take over the powerhouse program. According to both 247Sports and On3, the program is interested in the transfer quarterback.

Rahsada is arguably the most enticing quarterback prospect in the portal right now. After spending last season at Arizona State, he has four years of eligibility remaining. He appeared in three games, tossing for 485 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions in that span.

Arizona State landed Rashada in the 2023 recruiting class as the sixth-best player in California and the No. 81 prospect in the country. He was a top-ten quarterback in the class and a four-star recruit.

Rashada had an interesting recruitment. He was committed to Miami, signed with Florida and eventually ended up at Arizona State. The 6-foot-4, 175-pound quarterback would be an interesting fit in Athens.

With Beck returning, his veteran presence would be something worth following for Rashada while he spends time with an incredible program, who won back-to-back National Championships before missing the playoffs a season ago. The time to develop while waiting to take over a dominant program could be an ideal situation for the second-year quarterback.
