The Ohio State Buckeyes have momentum on the football field, sitting undefeated and ranked No. 3 in the country.

Now, they have just picked up some momentum off of it as well, landing a commitment from talented 2025 Cocoa (FL) wide receiver Jayvan Boggs on Monday morning.

Boggs becomes the second commitment of the Buckeyes 2025 class, alongside Bellefontaine (OH) four-star quarterback, Tavien St. Claire.

Boggs picked the Buckeyes over heavy interest from Florida, UCF and South Florida.

And according to the 6-foot, 190-pound pass catcher, it was the relationships Brian Hartline and Ryan Day that ultimately made the difference for him.

“What really made me commit was the relationships I created with Coach Day, Coach Hartline and Coach Jordan," Boggs told On3. "When I went up there it felt like a second home to me honestly!"

Boggs is also thoroughly impressed with the types of talents the Buckeyes have been able to produce in the NFL and wants to be the next Ohio State first-round NFL Draft pick.

He also said the Buckeyes plan to use him a lot like 2022 first-rounder Jaxon Smith-Ngiba once he gets on campus.

"I feel coach Hartline can help me get to where I wanna be at the next level and be a 1st round pick like Jaxon, Chris, and many more," Boggs told On3. "Coach Hartline really made it known that I’m a top priority for them and that he wants me to be their first 2025 wide receiver commit... Coach Hartline says I remind him a lot of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and will be used similar to how he was used when he was there,"
