The Volunteers (more than likely) are losing some big men next season. Uros Plavsic and Olivier Nkamhoua are seniors who possibly had their final game in the sweet sixteen against Florida Atlantic.

One of the highlighted big men that will help the Vols next season is Jonas Aidoo. The 6-foot-11-inch sophomore out of Durham, North Carolina, was a highly valuable center off the bench for head coach Rick Barnes this past season.

He helped lead Tennessee into the Sweet Sixteen game this season with 10 points. He also brought in 7 rebounds that game. He averaged 4.9 rebounds a game this season. Aidoo also had an exceptional field goal percentage of 50.7% this season. He is an efficient scorer from a short distance as well.

His tall and lanky frame makes him perfect in the low post and a great board-getter. With more playing time next season, Aidoo's potential can have multiple double-digit rebounding games. He had two of those this year in games against Ole Miss and Alabama.

On the defensive end, Aidoo is a great shot blocker. He averaged around 1.3 blocks a game this season. He fits the bill of a defensive-minded center on Rick Barnes' team and gets the game flowing through that.

Aidoo could be the Vols starting center, depending on which of the six seniors leave. The only one without any eligibility left is Tyreke Key. But, if the grand majority of them depart from Knoxville. Aidoo may be the guy who gets the nod down low during his junior season next year.
