Watch: Texas A&M forces OT with wild three

Texas A&M missed four chances to send its game against Houston to overtime. The fifth shot was the charm.

Andersson Garcia hit a three-pointer while falling down as time expired to tie the Aggies’ second-round game against Houston. The big shot followed a wild sequence where Texas A&M missed four straight shots in the final 12 seconds but managed to keep possession the whole time.

It wasn’t enough to get the upset win, as Texas A&M eventually lost 100-95. But it gave Houston a scare, especially when it erased a seven-point Cougars lead in the final 55 seconds.

In overtime, Texas A&M cut a six-point lead to two late, but it couldn't come all the way back, even as Houston missed three free throws in the final 21 seconds. Ultimately, the free throw line hurt the Aggies, as they missed 16 free throws in the game.

Houston advanced to the Sweet 16, and while Texas A&M is heading home, Garcia definitely made the One Shining Moment montage.
