Seniors Say 'Thank You' to WVU, Fans

West Virginia's season came to an end on Thursday following a 67-65 loss to the Maryland Terrapins in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It also closed the book on the collegiate careers of Kedrian Johnson, Erik Stevenson, and Emmitt Matthews Jr. 

Shortly after the loss, each of the three seniors made sure to send out a post on Twitter to thank the fans and the university.

Career stats at WVU

Kedrian Johnson: 589 points, 171 assists, 164 rebounds, 119 steals, 91 games.

Erik Stevenson: 522 points, 84 assists, 114 rebounds, 36 steals, 34 games.

Emmitt Matthews Jr.: 917 points, 104 assists, 450 rebounds, 64 steals, 124 games.
