Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

After four years in college, Arizona Wildcats shooting guard Pelle Larsson feels like he is ready for the big leagues. In a recent post on his Instagram account, Larrson reveals his intention to try his luck in the pros by declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Arizona Wildcats Guard Looking to Turn Pro Afer NBA Draft Decision

Larsson penned the letter not just to announce his big decision to leave Tucson to chase his NBA dreams but also to express his gratitude to the school and everyone who helped him along the way in college.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Tucson, The University of Arizona, and every individual involved with the Athletic Department. To the fans, coaches, teammates, managers, trainers, doctors, media, EMOY, and the rest of the support staff, THANK YOU! These past years have been some of the best of my life. Tucson, and the McKale Center, will always have a special place in my heart. I am extremely grateful to Tommy Lloyd for bringing me to Arizona to play with incredible teammates and win championships. I am proud to call myself a Wildcat for life. With that being said, I have decided to enter my name in the 2024 NBA draft. POWERADE.

At 6-6, Larrson has good size for his position in the NBA. Perhaps his biggest asset is his shooting abilities. In the 2023-24 college basketball season with the Wildcats, he averaged 12.8 points and shot 42.6 percent from behind the arc and 51.9 percent overall from the floor. He also posted 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Wildcats that season.

Another notable item on his resume is the fact that he is the only player in the entire nation who managed to collect at least 1,200 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, and 100 steals while also making at least 49 percent of field goal attempts and 39 percent from 3-point distance over the last four campaigns.
