West Virginia guards Erik Stevenson and Kedrian Johnson completed a pre-draft workout with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday ahead of the 2023 NBA draft scheduled for Thursday June 22.
The workout marked the second for Stevenson after meeting with the Washington Wizards a little over a week ago while it was Johnson's first pre-draft workout.
Stevenson led the Mountaineers in scoring last season, averaging a career-high 15.4 points per game, including notching two 30-plus performances against Auburn (31) and Oklahoma (34) during a three-game stretch in his lone season in Morgantown.
Johnson spent three seasons at West Virginia and was second on the team in scoring last year, averaging a career-best 11.7 ppg in his final season, upping his output from 5.3 ppg a season ago. He finished with a career-high 27 points in his final game as a Mountaineer in the opening round of the NCAA tournament versus Maryland.
Stevenson and Johnson followed the workout with a picture with former West Virginia guard and current Cavaliers General Manager Mike Gansey (2003-06).
