USA Today

The Arkansas Razorbacks beat the Texas A&M Aggies 78-71 Tuesday night at Reed Arena in College Station, extending the A&M losing streak to three games.

Aggies (15-11, 6-7 SEC) guard Jace Carter led A&M with 14 points while Tyrece Radford and Henry Coleman III chipped in 12 apiece. Wade Taylor IV put in 11 and nine assists. Andersson Garcia pulled in a team-high 15 boards while Solomon Washington was also in double-digit rebounds with 10.

The Razorbacks' (13-13, 4-9 SEC) Tramon Mark pumped in 26 going 8-of-16 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. Makhi Mitchell scored a career-high 22 off the bench while Khalif Battle contributed 15.

Arkansas led 35-31 at the break before the Aggies went just 8-of-35 from the field in the second half, with the power-scoring duo of Radford and Taylor went just 7-of-29 combined.

Texas A&M shot just 33.3 percent from the field for the game while Arkansas shot 39 percent.

Texas A&M was down nine with 4:11 left in the game before Wade Taylor IV and Tyrece Radford woke up. Radford hit two running buckets - one assisted by Taylor - and Taylor was fouled on a layup to get the score to 61-58 with 2:44 remaining, pending the foul shot by Taylor.

Taylor missed the foul shot and Radford missed a follow-up three that gave Arkansas a run the other way. Razorbacks guard Tramon Mark hit a three and was fouled on the shot and made his free throw.

The Aggies then went cold again as the Razorbacks' lead was seven with under two minutes, and Arkansas held on for a 78-71 win.
