On Saturday, the Aggies mounted a comeback win against the Florida Gators at Reed Arena in College Station. Tyrece Radford scored 26 points, leading the come-from-behind victory, and that wasn't even the most entertaining thing that happened on the court that night.

An Aggies student had a chance to win $1,000 by making a half-court shot during one of the breaks in the action. The student got a running start and heaved the ball to the rim, and banked it in.

The Reed Rowdies went nuts in approval.

But coach Buzz Williams doesn't think $1,000 is a suitable reward for the feat. During the postgame presser, he said he would match the winnings.

“I knew something entertaining was going on,” said Williams about the made shot. “$1,000? That’s all we can give them? If she’s listening, come see me and I’ll match the gift from Texas A&M.”

It had to be a good feeling for the student to find out she won twice as much as she anticipated for her winning shot.

In the victory, the Aggies halted a four-game winning streak by the Gators and got back in the win column for their second win during a three-game homestand against Missouri, Ole Miss and Florida.

The Aggies next face Mizzou on Wednesday inside Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
