The top CFL prospect has made a decision regarding his college career.

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke committed to playing for the Indiana Hoosiers in the 2024 season, announcing his choice on X on Thursday.

Rourke announced last week that he had entered the transfer portal after five years playing for the Ohio Bobcats. He picked Indiana over Vanderbilt, BYU and Wake Forest, all of whom made offers to him before his decision.

Rourke finished with 2,207 passing yards and 11 touchdowns in 11 games this past season. He completed 63.5 percent of his passes with a quarterback rating of 132.5. Ohio finished the season with a 9-3 overall record.

His career numbers with the Bobcats include 7,666 yards passing with 50 touchdowns to 16 interceptions. Statistically, his best season came in 2022 when he threw for 3,256 yards, 25 touchdowns and four interceptions. The team had their first 10-win season since 2011 that year and made a MAC Championship appearance.

Current Jacksonville Jaguars and former BC Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke is the older brother of Kurtis Rourke. Nathan Rourke was recently elevated to the active roster after starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence was banged up with a high ankle injury.

Rourke was considered the number one prospect going into the 2024 CFL Draft according to the CFL Scouting Bureau back in August. CFL teams will have to wait until the 2025 CFL Draft if they want to pursue the quarterback.
