The common consensus going into the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is that it will be an uncomfortable watch for fans.

Although "Iron" Mike might look impressive on the pads, and they do say that power is the last thing to leave you, there's a reason that people don't compete inside the ring at 58 years of age.

A lot of people will be hoping that the former heavyweight great can roll back the years on July 20 to hand "The Problem Child" his first knockout loss.

One highly regarded MMA coach believes that in order to add some more jeopardy into the fight, people should turn the other cheek when it comes to what Tyson is putting into his body while preparing...

Welch Says Tyson Should Be Able To Take 'Special Supplements' Before Boxing Paul

Tim Welch believes that in order for the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul to be competitive, the former should be allowed a free pass to take prohibited substances in athletic competition.

The head coach of UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley recently appeared on The MMA Hour, during which he gave his thoughts on the fight.

Welch suggested that the only way this fight will deliver on being competitive is if the soon-to-be 58-year-old Tyson is allowed to enhance himself.

"I just think it comes down to, is he going to be able to do some special supplements or is he not? If he is, then the fight will probably be competitive. If he's not able to do any special supps, it's like he's going to get tired."

He then said that this rule would obviously only apply to Tyson as he is 30 years older than Paul, therefore helping to level the playing field to some degree.

"Yeah, I think just Mike. If there's an age gap of over twenty years, you should be able to do a little something something."
