Logan Paul has an opponent for his next boxing match

While his WWE career seems to be flourishing, YouTuber-turned-combat sports star Logan Paul isn’t limiting himself to just one sport.

And while it’s been nearly four years since his last professional boxing match, that isn’t stopping Paul, 28, from getting back in the ring, this time against Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis on Oct. 14 at the O2 Arena in Manchester, England.

“OCTOBER 14 I return to boxing after fighting Floyd Mayweather over 2 years ago,” Paul posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I doubt this little parasite will show up but if he does I’m going to erase him from existence.”

Per MMA Junkie, the fight will be six three-minute rounds and fought at 195 pounds. It will serve as the co-main event for a card that also features a main event fight between Paul’s business partner and Prime hydration drink co-owner KSI and Tommy Fury, the only boxer to defeat Paul’s brother Jake.

Paul, who’s had one amateur and one professional boxing match (a six-round, split decision loss to KSI in 2019) hasn’t fought since an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in June 2021 — a match that many agreed Paul would have lost if it had been scored.

The 29-year-old Danis has a 2-0 record in MMA, but he hasn’t fought since June 2019 while battling a series of reported injuries. He was slated to make his pro boxing debut earlier this year against KSI but he withdrew from the fight days before it was scheduled to happen.
