I guess retirement isn't all rainbows and fairies if you are Andy Roddick. The retired tennis star was in Alabama for the Powershare series when his opponent, Mark Philippoussis, decided it would be good fun to aim the ball between Roddick's legs. Fortunately for us it was all caught on camera and fortunately for Roddick the ball bounced first! Priorities....
Roddick was fortunate that the ball bounced before hitting him in the marbles, but that certainly didn't help lessen the pain. Fortunately, Roddick was able to recover to win the match, then followed it up with a win over John McEnroe in the final.Video via ChampionsSeries. H/T Busted Racquet.
