So apparently Andy Roddick's wife, Brooklyn Decker, shares his temper when it comes to tennis. Chatting on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Brookly described how she smashed a racket during a hit with her husband of five (!) years. Brooklyn is promoting her new show, Friends with Better Lives.
Roddick was fortunate that the ball bounced before hitting him in the marbles, but that certainly didn't help lessen the pain. Fortunately, Roddick was able to recover to win the match, then followed it up with a win over John McEnroe in the final.Video via ChampionsSeries. H/T Busted Racquet.

Andy Roddick is a TV guy now. He's carved out a nice niche as Fox Sports 1's general ex-athlete guy as an interviewer and panelist on Fox Sports Live. Perhaps that's why he may be a little rusty when it comes to tennis. Watch as Roddick gets nailed in the groin by Mark Philippoussis in Roddick's PowerShares series (basically the legends tour) debut. Ouch....

Twenty minutes before he was due to play what might have been his last match - but wasn't - Andy Roddick got all emotional in the locker room.
After coming off court with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-0 victory over the young Australian Bernard Tomic, Roddick tried to explain what he had been going through - playing on Arthur Ashe Stadium in front of 24,600 people the day after announcing that...
Any talk with a great champion on the decline is never going to be fun. And the whole thing tends to seem even more like a wake when a player whose name still resonates around the world is ushered into Interview Room No. 2 as if he is already yesterday's man.
Andy Roddick said he couldn't care less which room he was in here at Roland Garros and one believed him. He had bigger...
