One of skiing’s biggest stars might be in trouble on the first day of the sport’s world championships. Lindsey Vonn has been airlifted from the mountain in Schladming, Austria after suffering a crash on Tuesday, according to Ski Racing Magazine. According to the report, Vonn flipped over handlebars and took out a panel in the crash. Medical personnel were on the scene, and the two-time Olympic medalist was attended to. In a blog post for the Denver Post, Vonn expressed some concern about the ski conditions, noting that snow on Sunday and rain on Monday had prevented competitors from practicing on the mountain before the women’s super G scheduled for Tuesday. “None of our staff has been on the hill,” she wrote. “We don’t know what shape the hill is in. We don’t know anything about it.” Check out a video of the crash below. Thumbnail photo via Facebook/Lindsey Vonn
