The Carolina Hurricanes have signed winger Jiri Tlusty to a one-year contract worth $2.95 million. Tlusty potted 16 goals and added 14 assists in 68 games with the Hurricanes in 2013-14. Carolina Hurricanes forward Jiri Tlusty will miss two to three weeks after having his appendix removed.
