Clemson star wide receiver DeAndre "Nuk" Hopkins is visiting the Carolina Panthers today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation, Hopkins has previously worked out privately for Panthers wide receivers coach Ricky Proehl.

Wake Forest was the first to offer Charlotte area product Austin Proehl of Providence Senior High School. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver is the son of Demon Deacon and NFL great, Ricky Proehl. He said the connection to the program could be a big plus when it becomes decision time.
