Oakland Raiders offseason position review: defensive backs

Watching the Oakland Raiders attempt to play pass defense in 2013 was a disaster. Even worse than an abysmal 2012. They gave up 20 more passing yards per game and 300 more total passing yards than in 2012, while seemingly “upgrading” from 2012 starting defensive backs such as Pat Lee, Ron Bartell, Matt Giordano, and Michael Huff. Mike Jenkins, Tracy Porter, Charles Woodson, and...

WATCH: Raiders defensive coordinator flips out on refs

A third quarter personal foul call on cornerback Mike Jenkins apparently sent Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver over the edge.  He started flipping the bird at the referee that called the penalty and sent a few f-bombs his way as well.  Hopefully it was worth it for Tarver because you can guarantee there is a fine coming his way. Now with the Cowboys trading up eight spots in the first round of the draft to select Morris Claiborne, some believe that Jenkins is the odd man out. There are even reports that the Cowboys have been looking to trade Jenkins...

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, the Dallas Cowboys remain open to trading veteran cornerback Mike Jenkins, even though there were some reports that people within the organization would rather keep him.
