The Washington Redskins recently re-signed cornerback DeAngelo Hall for four years and $17 million despite his suffering two Achilles tears last year.
Originally the deal included $5.65 million guaranteed but after some re-structuring there is no more guaranteed money for Hall:

According to Yates, this move makes Hall’s base salary of $4 million non-guaranteed for the 2015 season.

The four year, $17 million dollar contract with the 30 year old is an unsettling one, hearkening back to the days of the Redskins overpaying for over the hill prospects.
