Jerry Jones has no problem with what New York Giants linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka said about the Cowboys owner during a New York radio interview last Thursday. Jones couldnt argue with Kiwanuka because the defender was correct in his assessment. Last month, Jones encouraged fans during training camp to travel to Cowboys Stadium and watch the Cowboys beat the Giants butts. Kiwanuka responded with the following on WFAN: "He should be eager for the Cowboys to kick the Giants' butts. I mean, the Giants have been whupping his butt for a long time." Given the chance to fire back a day before the Cowboys and Giants open the season, Jones declined to add any extra fuel to the fire. "It just reminds me that he's right," Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 KRLD-FM The Fan's New School show. They have taken the bacon from us the last few years and certainly last year. "They played the regular season at 9-7. We do know that given a couple of completions that we could have possibly been in those same shoes. I dont know that anybody was playing any better than the Giants were at the end of the year. There is no doubt that we can, we could, we shouldve been focused on this opener and playing the New York Giants. I dont back away from that emphasis at all." The Cowboys have lost seven of their last nine games against the Giants, which includes a 21-17 loss in the divisional round of the 2007 playoffs. Follow Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota

New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys Preview

Although the NFL is restricted to such a small geographic fan base, I think that it is one of the most special sports of all. The NFL has something so unique that other leagues like the NBA, NHL, MLB, and more can’t really replicate as well as the NFL does – its culture. When you think about Sundays, do you think about the NBA, NHL, MLB, or even going...
