Former New York Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce told ESPN Radio in New York that he believes Giants defensive end Justin Tuck isn’t the player that he once was.
“I played with Justin Tuck and have a tremendous respect for him. But he has not been the same player emotionally, mentally or his play in the last three years. It’s just the facts,” Pierce said, per ESPNNewYork.com. “He came on late last season and once Antrel Rolle and a couple of other guys said he had to pick it up, but for the most part, he’s a situation, third-down, passing situation defensive end.”
Pierce doesn’t see the energy from Tuck that he did when they played together.
“For me, the guy I played with, when he was there, a lot of energy, a lot of passion, brought it each and every play, each and every snap, loved to play the game,” Pierce said. “I heard him mention it last year before the run [that] he didn’t know where his mind was at, or if he was into the game. His comments this week, the same thing. As much

Are you asking yourself what happened to Eli Manning and the New York Giants over the last two weeks? Another embarrassing loss for the Giants have now taken them out of the running for the NFC East as the winner of the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins will determine the winner next Sunday. While the Giants may be out of the NFC East race they still have a chance at making...

Despite being advised by Justin Tuck to stop celebrating with backflips, David Wilson went with his usual antics against the Ravens.
Osi Umenyiora's contract with the Giants expires after this season, and he said he blames himself if he does not finish his career in New York.
The New York Giants are coming off one of their worst losses in recent memory — a humiliating 34-0 beatdown by the Atlanta Falcons — and have fallen into a three-way tie looking up at the Cowboys and Redskins for first place in the NFC East.
Nevertheless, the team still insists it is at its best when their backs against the wall. At least that's what they publicly say...
New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora told USA Today Sports that he regrets the way he handled his contract situation by holding out and causing some friction with the Giants over the past few years.
“Yes, a lot of regrets. I completely went about it the wrong way,” said Umenyiora. “Honestly, if I would’ve handled it differently, it wouldn’t even be a question about...

Ahmad Bradshaw took part in practice on a limited basis Friday, and New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin said he was encouraged about having the running back for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Bradshaw, the team's leading rusher, sat out last week's 34-0 loss at Atlanta after spraining his left knee a week earlier in a win over New Orleans.

I went back and forth on Chicago/NY Giants for the final playoff spot. The Giants control their own destiny, but the Bears have very winnable games against Arizona and the team who lost to Arizona (Detroit) to finish their season, while the Giants have to go to Baltimore....
Alex Raskin of CBS Sports.com is a respected analyst who is unbiased toward New York sports teams. Still, I didn't expect Raskin to get on the Ravens bus for this one. This game to me is a pick'em. Both teams match up evenly across the board. Even their injury counts are eerily similar. I would even argue that the Giants have more motivation and need to win than the Ravens...
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith were both listed as questionable after taking part in limited practice Friday in advance of Sunday's game. Bradshaw has knee and foot injuries that kept him out of last week's loss at the Atlanta Falcons. Smith suffered a concussion during the Ravens' loss to the Denver Broncos...
