Lot of teams sniffing but no one actually biting on a contract for Mehmet Okur. Which is a shame because he’s a versatile big man, a rare comodity in the NBA.

In a league were big men are scarce, Mehmet is demanding more than the vet minimum for his services. As he should, the Turkish player is of quality and would provide great service to a team in need of a big man who can shoot. The Wolves want him, but according to Okur’s camp, that’s a “long shot”.
Mehmet Okur is unable to play due to a bad back, but he intends to seek an NBA deal in the offseason.
