— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) June 18, 2013
Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier that Doc will be in Boston on Wednesday and will sit down with Danny to discuss his future and, I imagine, the future of the Celtics. And Steve Bulpett is reporting in the Herald that Doc plans...

Woj stated a few minutes later that Doc and Ainge “aren’t at odds”…
As much as Rivers wanted Clippers job, Boston management wanted to use deal to speed up rebuilding...
Rivers, Ainge To Meet On Wednesday
Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge will meet on Wednesday to discuss the best way to move forward following the end of trade talks between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers.
Rivers was nearly allowed to coach the Clippers in a deal that would have involved Kevin Garnett.
Rivers is reportedly uneasy about returning to the Celtics amid a likely rebuild.
The Celtics were hoping to...

From Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski.
Danny Ainge has called Doc Rivers to tell him that talks are done, sources tell Y! Sports. Ainge told him he still wants him as coach.

Welp, this is awkward.
Ainge may want Doc back, but at this point I would rank the possibilities as following:
1. Doc works in TV next year
2. Celtics...

It's been a while since I posted my analysis of the Boston Celtics' 2003 and 2004 NBA Drafts. Next on the list is the 2005 draft so let's get to it. Draft: 2004 Picks: (1)18, (2)50, (2)53 (1)18. Gerald...
Doc Rivers-Kevin Garnett Proposed Trade Could Bring Danny Ainge Pieces for Future Celtics Championship
I couldn’t believe it. The Celtics, who had the second-worst record in the league after the 2006-07 season, were once again in position to either pick No. 1 or 2 in the draft. It’s like the basketball gods finally realized the error of their ways, when the C’s were in position to pick first in the 1997 draft and select Tim Duncan, only to settle for the No. 3 pick in the form...
Report: Danny Ainge, Celtics No Longer Insisting Clippers Include Eric Bledsoe in Deal for Doc Rivers
At this point it seems like a matter of when, not if, Doc Rivers departs Boston.
Despite talks between the Clippers and Celtics hitting an impasse over the weekend, it appears that talks to send Rivers and Kevin Garnett to Los Angeles in a multi-layered package deal are not totally dead after all. Now that it is clear the Clippers will not include point guard Eric Bledsoe in the...
Speculating on Danny Ainge’s asking price for Doc Rivers
The LA Times Broderick Turner asked some anonymous NBA executives to speculate on what Danny Ainge might ask in return from the Clippers should he let Doc Rivers out of his contract:
Two executives said the first thing Ainge would want is young players such as Clippers centerDeAndre Jordan and Eric Bledsoe, and an expiring contract such as Caron Butler’s $8-million deal.
Then...
Your Morning Dump… Where ownership thinks having Ainge is a competitive advantage
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Q: Are you at all worried this team is going to fall deep into a rebuilding phase?
GROUSBECK: Wow, that sounds appealing (laughs).
PAGLIUCA: We’ve rebuilt before, and we have a lot of good players on this roster...
