CARLOS BOOZER RUMORS

Carlos Boozer Won't Pursue Contract Buyout From Lakers

Carlos Boozer will not request a contract buyout with the Los Angeles Lakers. Boozer will finish out the season with the Lakers instead of looking for the chance to join a postseason contender as a free agent. Boozer is averaging 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds a game while shooting 51.6% from the field this season.

Lakers Rumors: Carlos Boozer Will Not Request Buyout, Will Finish Season In L.A.

The Los Angeles Lakers may be on course for their worst season in franchise history, but that doesn’t mean veteran big man Carlos Boozer is going to request a buyout anytime soon. According to Eric Pincus from the L.A. Times, Boozer “will not request a contract buyout.” This is kind of surprising seeing as the Lakers won’t be making it to the playoffs this year. At 33, Boozer...

Carlos Boozer wants Abigail Ratchford to check her DM

Carlos Boozer must have some sort of business opportunity that he would like to discuss privately with Abigail Ratchford. Ratchford is a model that became famous through social media by flaunting her jaw-dropping … well, you know. Her Instagram page is essentially a shrine to her assets. Last week, Boozer commented on one of Ratchford’s...Read More

Los Angeles Lakers: Sky-high expectations for new staff

The Los Angeles Lakers are in a peculiar situation as they currently sit at a bit of a crossroads. On one path, they’re hoping to make a quick return to the playoffs and the other path is a rebuilding for the future. They enter the 2014-15 season with almost an entirely new coaching staff except the return of assistant coach Johnny Davis (Dayton). At the helm, Byron Scott looks...

Los Angeles Lakers: Trio of bargain-priced free agents

The Los Angeles Lakers entered the offseason with dreams of landing one of the marquee free agents on the market, but are left with the reality that their season will result with another lottery pick. With Mitch Kupchak settling for a trio of bargain-priced players, the team seems to be resigned to write off the season so they can add an elite player in either 2015/2016 seasons with...

Kobe’s message to Carlos Boozer

Carlos Boozer was recently amnestied by the Chicago Bulls, who brought in former Laker forward, Pau Gasol, to fill the void at power-forward. The Los Angeles Lakers responded by snatching up Boozer off of waivers. Boozer is now a Laker, and reportedly had a conversation with Lakers’ great, Kobe Bryant. The message Kobe sent to Boozer was one we’d all expect Kobe to send. “Be...

Lakers win amnesty bidding for Carlos Boozer

Well, after the Ed Davis signing, this comes as quite a shock. The Los Angeles Lakers have won the bidding for the amnestied Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer, according to Marc Stein from ESPN. Once Boozer was amnestied earlier this week, teams under the cap were able to place sealed bids for the veteran. The Lakers apparently put in the largest bid, which was likely in the $2...

Chicago Bulls finally amnesty Carlos Boozer

The writing was on the wall here for Carlos Boozer after the Chicago Bulls signed Pau Gasol to a three-year, $22 million contract. Boozer was set to make $16.8 million in 2014-2015, the final year of his contract. While Chicago wipes a huge contract off its salary cap for the upcoming season, Boozer will still get that large sum of money from the team.  Bulls say goodbye to Carlos...

Chicago Bulls: Free agent targets

For the past five seasons, the Chicago Bulls seemed like they are just one big acquisition away from hoisting the Larry O’brien trophy. And after a year of hard work and heart break, not much has changed. This years free agent class appears to be the most fruitful in recent years and gives the Bulls a great opportunity to finally get over the hump. It won’t be easy though. They...
