The Utah Jazz will bring Brian Cook into training camp. Cook entered the NBA in 2003 and had his most notable seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. Cook was waived by the Washington Wizards late in the preseason last season and then played in Puerto Rico.

The Washington Wizards got their roster down to 15 players on Sunday by waiving center-forward Brian Cook and guard Shelvin Mack. Cook had been signed by Washington to a training camp contract on September 17 after averaging 3.1 points and 2.5 rebounds for the Wizards last season.
