A woman is claiming to be an omitted child of late Lakers owner Jerry Buss and says she is entitled to her share of the family fortune, according to a report.

TMZ says the new woman has come forward and filed legal documents in LA County Superior Court claiming that she was an “omitted” child of Buss. “Omitted” by a legal definition would mean Buss did not know about her.

Jeanie Buss, who is Jerry’s oldest daughter and a Lakers team president, reportedly filed papers saying the woman is lying and does not deserve anything.

A hearing reportedly is set for Tuesday morning.

Buss has six children — four with ex-wife JoAnn Mueller, and two with longtime ex-girlfriend Karen Demel. Buss faced two palimony suits after the six children were born. He settled one out of court in 1990 for $5 million and still had another pending. A source with knowledge of the situation tells Larry Brown Sports that Buss had a child outside of the aforementioned six. LBS is told he was paying monthly support for the child. It is unclear which child that might be, but what we know is that Buss had more than the six recognized children.
