According to a team release, the United States Air Force will once again have it’s colors on the No. 43 Ford Fusion that is driven by Aric Almirola in 2013. This will mark the fifth season that the US Air Force has been a sponsor for Richard Petty Motorsports, and it is now the 13th year that the military branch has been in NASCAR.
Almirola is a natural pairing for the US Air Force, as his father served for the branch and he himself was born on an Air Force base in Eglin, Florida. In the team release Almirola broke down how perfect his partnership with the USAF is.
