It seems a bit unfair. Last November Trevor Bayne was busy rolling into victory lane at Texas Motor Speedway for his first career NASCAR Nationwide Series victory, five months later Bayne’s 2012 Nationwide Series championship dreams have been dashed before they even really began.
Well Bayne is still eligible to race for the championship, but he is not on the official entry list for this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, and he will not be competing in the race despite already being in the lone-star state.
