As the 2012 NASCAR season comes to a conclusion with two races remaining, Roush Fenway hopes to continue its successful track record at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. Throughout RFR's 25 years in NASCAR competition, the team has experienced tremendous prosperity at PIR dating back to 1993 when Mark Martin and the No. 6 Ford team attained its first Sprint Cup victory at the raceway. Since then, it seems RFR has chosen PIR as one of its favorites among tri-oval tracks accumulating 16 wins, nine poles, 70 top-five, and 117 top-10 finishes in 218 starts in three of NASCAR's premier divisions. In addition, of the five active tri-oval tracks in NASCAR, RFR has achieved the most laps led at Phoenix in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with 1,394, and in the Sprint Cup Series with 2,091.
