After Landon Cassill left the BK Racing team early this week, every indication has been David Reutimann would take over for Cassill. Well those indications were well found as Fox Sports’ Lee Spencer is reporting that is exactly the case, with Reutimann running the full 2013 season for BK Racing.
He will be in the #83 Burger King Toyota with Pat Tryson as crew chief. Travis Kvapil will be back in the #93 Dr. Pepper Toyota with Todd Anderson returning as crew chief, also confirmed by Spencer’s report.
Reutimann and Kvapil each were present for testing earlier this month at Daytona, and Reutimann raced the #93 at Daytona last year and select races in a third car (#73) for the organization. This is great for Reutimann who is still trying to land on his feet since being dumped by Michael Waltrip Racing after the 2011 season.
