New scheme for the # 31unveiled

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Jeff Burton and team owner Richard Childress unveiled the 2013 No. 31 Caterpillar Chevrolet SS on Wednesday, December 5 at the new Caterpillar Visitors Center located behind CAT's world headquarters in downtown Peoria, Ill."The traditional black and yellow Caterpillar colors really look sharp on this new 2013 Chevrolet SS race car," said Jeff Burton. "Not only will this new Chevrolet standout on the race track, NASCAR officials used a lot of feedback from different outlets to design a car that will put on a great show for the fans week in and week out."2013 marks Caterpillar's fifth season as primary sponsor on Burton's No. 31 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet and 20th year as sponsor in the motorsports industry.
