In NASCAR Nationwide Series racing action Friday night, Nelson Piquet Jr. kicked Brian Scott in the groin during a confrontation after the drivers finished the Richmond ToyotaCare 250. Piquet ran Scott into the wall and won the battle for 15th place in the race, while Scott had to settle for 20th.  Scott went over to "talk" to Piquet after the race when Piquet pushed and shoved Scott before kicking him in the ding-ding. Piquet later apologized for the kick. Scott did receive some consolation knowing that he performed well enough to move up from fifth to third in the NASCAR Nationwide standings.
