Statesville, N.C. – In last week’s race at Martinsville Speedway, Landon Cassill piloted the No. 83 Burger King/Dr Pepper Toyota to a 19th-place finish. It was his second consecutive top-20 and marked an improvement of 10 positions over his previous Martinsville performance. He plans to keep the momentum rolling into this week’s AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, where he’s aiming to rectify the 30th-place run he scored in April. Cassill has four Cup Series starts under his belt at Texas Motor Speedway. His best finish is 26th place, which he achieved last season. In Nationwide Series competition, he’s made one start.
