Spartanburg, S.C. – As the saying goes, “If ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Phoenix Racing and Kurt Busch have certainly subscribed to that notion upon their return to Daytona International Speedway for this weekend’s DRIVE4COPD 300. The winner of the most recent Nationwide Series event at 2.5-mile high-banked, historic track is revisiting the site of his victory with all the ingredients of the winning recipe. The same team, driver and car will all reunite to try for victory lane a second consecutive time. Busch took the checkered flag driving in the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona last July driving a Phoenix Racing-prepared Chevrolet. On Saturday, Busch will hop behind the wheel of the same car that he pedaled in his winning effort. Crew chief Nick Harrison will once again call the shots for Busch’s No. 1 Chevrolet.
