Justin Lofton battles through the field to finish tenth in Phoenix

Justin Lofton and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). No. 6 Third Annual Justin Lofton Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament / Lofton Cattle Chevrolet team battled a drama filled weekend at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) during the Lucas Oil 150, finishing the night in the tenth spot.   Shortly after the start of the opening practice session Lofton and the No. 6 Chevrolet team's challenges began.  After scraping the wall in the first practice session, the team worked quickly to repair their truck and sent Lofton out on the track to feel out their Chevrolet.  Lofton's crew worked carefully to find front grip and fine-tune the handling of their truck.  With just minutes left in the final practice, Lofton was attempting a mock run when he made contact with another truck resulting in additional damage to the No. 6 Chevrolet.
