MOORESVILLE, N.C. – JR Motorsports announced today a one-race sponsorship agreement with CorvetteParts.net for Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No. 5 Chevrolet in the April 26 race at Richmond International Raceway.
CorvetteParts.net is a subset of Keen Parts Inc., a leading supplier of Corvette restoration parts. JR Motorsports announced on April 4 that Jeffrey Earnhardt, the 23-year-old nephew of team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr., would fill the seat of the No. 5 Chevrolet at Richmond.
“We’re extremely happy that CorvetteParts.net has signed on for our Richmond weekend,” said general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller. “Given that Jeffrey is a fourth-generation Earnhardt and driving for JR Motorsports for the first time, there will be a lot of attention centered around our No. 5 team that weekend. We hope to take advantage of that and make it a big opportunity for CorvetteParts.net as well.”
