NASCAR is racing for the first time since 1970 on dirt at Eldora Speedway. The trucks race at the Ohio based track on Wednesday, July 24. The idea has four time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon questioning if its time to shake up the NASCAR schedule and add in changes at the Cup level itself. Gordon said he is a fan of mid-week racing, “I would love to see that,” Gordon said. “I think when “Monday Night Football’ ends, we should start “Monday Night Racing.’ But that is just me.
