After competing in five Camping World Truck Series races in 2012, Jeb Burton has signed a two-year contract to drive for Tuner Motorsports.
Fresh off winning their first championship with James Buescher in the Truck Series one week ago, Turner Motorsports will have the 20-year-old Burton drive full-time for the team in trucks.
To go along with running in the Truck Series, Burton will also compete in select NASCAR Nationwide Series races over the course of the next two years for the team.
Burton, son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion Ward Burton, raced for the Hillman Racing team during the early part of the 2012 season, making his debut at Martinsville Speedway back in March.
However, after five starts with the team which included a best finish of eighth at Charlotte Motor Speedway, sponsorship couldn’t be found for the native of Halifax, VA.
The addition of Burton into the Turner Motorsports team ads the uncertainty of what the driver lineup will be for the team come February at Daytona...
