Tonight our hearts are hurting for the family of NASCAR driver Jason Leffler. Leffler was competing in a local short track sprint car race in New Jersey, when he was killed in a crash. The event was titled “Night of Wings” and it was a 25-lap race for a $7,000 prize. Jason Leffler had just competed in last week’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Pocono, his first NASCAR start of 2013, albeit in a start and park role.
