James Buescher and the Turner Motorsports team return to their home state of Texas for this weekend’s events at Texas Motor Speedway. Buescher, who cut his teeth in racing at the famed Texas Motor Speedway, will be looking for his first victory at his home track in a premier NASCAR division. Buescher heads into Texas Motor Speedway as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) points leader for the first time in 2012 with a 21-point edge over second place.     This Week’s Silverado…The No. 31 Great Clips Chevrolet Silverado team will unload the “Honey Badger,” chassis TMS-214. Buescher has wheeled this chassis to four victories in 2012 with wins at Chicagoland, Kentucky (twice) and Kansas. Last Race Recap…Buescher and the No. 31 Great Clips Turner Motorsports team never gave up after getting knocked down early. The No. 31 Great Clips Chevrolet Silverado started the race in the 10th position. After a slight handling issue in the early going, the team slipped all the way back to the 22nd position. After a couple timely yellows, the team was able to make some adjustments and get back on track for its charge to the front. Buescher worked diligently to finish just outside the top-five in the sixth position. Buescher and the Turner Motorsports team also jumped to the front of the series points standings, leading by 21 points with just three events remaining in 2012. Buescher on returning to Texas Motor Speedway: “I’m really looking forward to going back to my home track.  Texas Motor Speedway is where I first started my racing career, so to be able to come back home this weekend with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points lead really means a lot to me. We had a race get away from us earlier this year at Texas, so I’m really excited about chance to put our Great Clips Silverado in victory lane for the first time at my home track.”
