PLAYERS: Greg Biffle
Greg Biffle is looking to recapture the magic he had at the Homestead-Miami Speedway when he won three straight races from 2004 through 2006. In 2004 he led 117 laps to victory, but the next year he only needed nine laps led. So being up front helps, but obviously is not necessary as Biffle proved. Three in a row: Biffle won three races in a row at Homestead, starting in 2004. Homestead Stats: Biffle has an average starting position of 16.4 and an average finish of 15.3 at Homestead.   Point Standings: Biffle is currently seventh in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver point standings. Team:  No. 16 3M / SP Richards Ford Fusion Crew Chief: Matt Puccia Chassis: Primary: RK-817   Last ran Charlotte – finished 4th                 Backup: RK-777    Last ran Pocono – finished 15th  Greg Biffle on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway: “I’m looking forward to Homestead this weekend and I hope to have another good run.  We’ve won three times there, so hopefully we can finish off the season in the top five in points if everything goes our way.  You’ve got to have a good car so you can run the middle, top and bottom of the flat slick race track.  I’m looking forward to getting the 3M Ford in the top five in points, I’ve got my fingers crossed.” Crew chief Matt Puccia on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway: “Homestead is a unique track that has progressive banking, which offers side-by-side racing.  It’s a tight points race from third to 10th, so every point matters.  We are looking to get a good finish this weekend in Homestead to end the season on a high note and build momentum for 2013.”
