Second Annual Indiana 250 at IMS… This weekend will mark the NASCAR Nationwide Series’ second trip to the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Last season, McClure competed in the inaugural Indiana 250 where he started the 100-lap event from the 34th position. After battling an ill-handling car throughout the race, he finished in the 24th spot. Chassis No. 314 … McClure will pilot a brand new chassis this weekend in the Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Friday’s practice session will be its first time on the track since being built by the TriStar Motorsports team earlier this season. Silver Reynolds Wrap Scheme Returns…McClure’s Camry will take on a different look this weekend as the silver and blue colors of the Reynolds Wrap® brand will make its return to the track. This weekend will mark the third time this season the Reynolds Wrap® brand will adorn the hood of the No. 14 Camry. Driver Appearance… Prior to Saturday’s race, McClure will participate in the Nationwide Series autograph session from 10:00am – 11:00am in the Pavilion, located in the infield. Wristband distribution will begin at 8:00am Saturday morning in the Pagoda Plaza. Tune-In… Saturday’s 100-lap event will be televised live on EPSN beginning at 4:00 p.m. (ET). MRN (Motor Racing Network) and SiriusXM Radio Channel 90 will also broadcast the event live on Saturday, July 27. IMS has a lot of history. What is it like racing on a track that means so much to the motorsports community? “Personally, it’s hard to put into words what it feels like to have the opportunity to drive on the track. Last year it was an incredible feeling to pull onto the track for the first time and feel the history. The racing itself is a challenge because this track, more than any other, displays the resource gap between teams in our series and track position is extremely critical. We are looking forward to this race and trying to get a finish that reflects our recent performance.” -Hefty Reynolds Racing PR
