In the process, Junior shared an anecdote about his father and driving at Martinsville.Martinsville has been on the NASCAR circuit forever. H. Clay Earles opened the track in 1947, with 750 seats. The track was paved in 1955, but the layout is the same. It's more than a April short track stop, the spring and fall dates are a step back in time, back to the roots of the sport.
