Dale Earnhardt Jr. has done quite a bit over the course of his 14-year NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career. He won the 2004 Daytona 500, he’s a past winner of the Allstar race, and he has accumulated 19 victories in NASCAR’s premier circuit, but what he is doing so far in 2013 is astonishing. In finishing seventh this past week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Earnhardt has for the first time in his career started the season off with three top-ten finishes in the first three races.
Earnhardt found solace in his seventh place finish this week in the fact that his team is consistently running up front.
