There is no doubt the NASCAR Nationwide Series season is a long, grueling one, travelling across the country for 10 months straight. The MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 team has seen it all this year and Homestead became the final chapter to the story. Jason Bowles and the team welcomed Thrush & Son Complete Home Improvement and their web-based software system C.H.I.P. back to the No. 81, but struggled to find grip all weekend. Jason and the team still fought hard all weekend long, and brought home a 29th place result to finish off the season.
“We just could never make the car comfortable for me for some reason,” explained Bowles after the race. “I wish we could have finished off the season with a strong run but these things happen. It was great to have the Thrush’s here at the track with us again and I really hope to be working more with them in 2013. Thrush & Son has really been a great partner for us for the second half of the season."
