MLB.com released its latest set of prospect rankings tonight, and the Mets have five prospects who made the cut.
Noah Syndergaard (13), Kevin Plawecki (67), Brandon Nimmo (67), Michael Conforto (86), and Dominic Smith (88) each made the overall top 100 list.

Travis d’Arnaud may have had his coming-out party for the Mets on Friday night, when he drove a two-run double into the gap to snap an eighth-inning tie that led to a 6-5 4th of July victory over the Rangers.

Tonight the Las Vegas 51′s were being broadcast on the CBS Sports Network and many New York Mets fans tuned in to watch their AAA affiliate take on the Sacramento Rivercats (A’s AAA affiliate). With 2 outs in the top of the 9th inning, the Mets top catching prospect (behind Travis d’Arnaud) tied the game up with just one swing.

It is official. Adam Rubin of ESPN is reporting that Kevin Plawecki has been promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas.
It must have been an exciting day for the Mets catching prospect as he was named the the MLB Future’s game earlier on, and now has made his next step towards the majors.
“What a day! Excited to join the @LasVegas51s on Thursday! #LGM”...
Adam Rubin of ESPN, has been told by sources that catching prospect Kevin Plawecki may be promoted to Triple-A very soon. With Travis d’Arnaud set to return, Plawecki, if promoted, should see a majority of time behind the plate for the 51′s not matter which catcher is coming back.
