PLAYERS: Dan Uggla
TEAMS: Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves have announced that second baseman Dan Uggla will make a rehab start tonight with the Gwinnett Braves.  The G-Braves will take on the Norfolk Tides at 6 p.m. Uggla has been on the 15-day disabled list since August 13 for Lasik eye surgery.  The Braves second baseman told the media last week that his eyesight is now 20/15. With Jason Heyward going down last week with a broken jaw that will most likely keep him out the rest of the season, what a shot in the arm it would be for the Braves if Uggla could regain the form that he flashed with the Florida Marlins and in spurts with the Braves. Uggla will be eligible to come off the DL in a couple of days, so hopefully his rehab starts will go well and he can return to the team.  Tyler Pastornicky was given an unexpected shot to win himself the job at second base, unfortunately he crashed into Jason Heyward chasing a pop-up and he is now out for the season with a knee injury himself.   The post Uggla Makes Rehab Start To...
