In another thrilling finish of the final leg of the Triple Crown, Union Rags slipped by Paynter to win the Belmont Stakes.

In front of a crowd of 85,511 Union Rags trainer Michael Matz finally got to show everyone what his horse was made of after finishing seventh in the Kentucky Derby and not racing in the Preakness.

Trainer Bob Baffert finished second again after his horse Paynter led the entire race, much like Bodemeister did in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness, only to lose at the wire.
