Video: Joe Theismann’s Emotional Post-Broken Leg Interview

This is a pretty amazing circa 1985 video, shot from the hospital room of Joe Theismann just days after suffering a career-ending broken leg at the hands of Lawrence Taylor. The interview, conducted by the late George Michael, is about 10 minutes long, and it’s followed by another extended clip of Michael interviewing Theismann’s successor, Jay Schroeder. Or, as Theismann calls him, Jay Schroder. Good stuff. (Video found by Fatpickled, which helpfully outlines some other highlights.)
